Riyad Mahrez: The official website of the European Football Association (UEFA) announced today, Friday, the winner of the best player award in the semi-final second leg of the Champions League.
According to UEFA’s website, Algerian Riyad Mahrez, the star of Manchester City, won the award, after scoring two goals for his team’s victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
Riyad Mahrez scored a double for his team against Saint Germain at the Al Ittihad Stadium, after he also scored the winning goal for his team in the first-leg match at Princes Park.
Mahrez competed for the award, with:
– Ngolo Kante, Chelsea midfielder, after he dominated the midfield during his team’s victory over Real Madrid (2-0).
Robin Diaz, Manchester City defender, who kept a clean sheet in his team’s 2-0 victory over Paris Saint-Germain.
– Kay Havertz, the Chelsea star, who made a great attacking effort in his team’s 2-0 victory over Real Madrid.
