The referees designation commission of the African Football Confederation (CAF) has chosen an Algerian trio for the opening match of CAN 2021 which will pit Cameroon (host country) against Burkina Faso at the Olembe stadium tomorrow. Algeria will be present on the ground from tomorrow in CAN! Indeed, the arbitral trio will be composed of Mustapha Ghorbal, main referee, who will be assisted in his task by Abdelhak Etchiali (1st assistant) and Mokrane Gourrari (2nd assistant).
The fourth referee will be the Egyptian Mahmoud Elbana while the match commissioner will be the Congolese Jean Médard Kossa.
