UEFA Champions League: This is how should Chelsea line up to finish the job against FC Porto

Porto who has welcomed Chelsea in Estádio do Dragão has lost the game 0-2, could Chelsea finished them or Porto put their remontada to take the victory

It’s a quick turnaround for Chelsea once again, with just three days off between Saturday’s trip across town to Crystal Palace and Tuesday’s trek back down to Spain once again for the second leg of our Champions League quarterfinal matchup against FC Porto. The Blues do hold a 2-0 lead from the first leg, technically the “away” leg even if both legs are being played in the same stadium — football in a pandemic!

Tuchel decided not to rotate too much for the weekend’s Premier League encounter, (rightly) citing its importance, but hopefully fatigue won’t be catching up with us just yet. The occasion itself should provide enough motivation, one would hope, even without any fans in the stands.

Chelsea’s only injury concern at the moment is Andreas Christensen’s hamstring, which caused him to miss Saturday’s game. While we don’t know the exact severity of the injury, hamstrings rarely heal in just a couple days. Kurt Zouma deputized capably while we also have a fit (and rested thanks to his suspension) Thiago Silva available as well.
