محرز: الجماهير صنعت الفارق في نهائي كأس الرابطة

عبر نجم مانشستر سيتي ، رياض محرز ، عن سعادته بفوز فريقه بلقب كأس رابطة الأندية الإنجليزية ، بعد فوزه ليلة الأحد 1-0 على توتنهام في المباراة النهائية.

سيطر محرز ومانشستر سيتي على المباراة منذ البداية ، وأهدرا مجموعة واسعة من الفرص ، قبل أن يسجل المدافع الفرنسي إيمريك لابورت هدف الفوز في الدقيقة 82.

“It was a difficult match, we knew it would be so. We continued to control and pass the ball, and I think we deserve to win today,” Mahrez told Sky Sports.

He continued: “You are always afraid because it (Tottenham) is a good team, but we are confident in the way we play. We are very happy. You have to win whether you played well or not. Today I think we played well and won.”

Regarding the partial return of the fans in this match on the “Wembley” stands, Mahrez said: “They (the fans) made a huge difference, 8,000 great numbers, and we are looking forward to the return of more of them.“
